Active Citizenship

Active Citizenship is the process through which people get involved in their communities and the public sphere in order to make society a better place for everyone. It involves voluntary work for different causes and participation in community decision-making processes. Active citizens have the abilities and skills needed to work equitably and effectively with others in developing their communities in sustainable ways.
